Morning routines don't have to be alarming and dreadful, allow yourself to belong to a morning practice that instantly uplifts your mood, day and sight !






Drilling alarm tone no more!

All we know surrounding the concept of routines is time constraints, strict allocations and required expectations. Institutionally, we were taught that time management is the only system that will allow you to meet your expectations. You must stick to the plan of action, do not stray from this structured path! It is true that your routines can hold your days and plans together, but it doesn't have to be punishingly painful to follow. To breathe, to be still, to inhale healing light and exhale tension can all be done here , now and by YOURSELF !!!

5 Tips for entering morning bliss:



1. First blink awake, first thought of gratitude:

direct your instant morning clutter of thoughts into a single gratitude, whether it be the bed you're sleeping on, the roof over your head, the family you have, the people you can love. Whether or not you believe it, give the day one gratitude from yourself.


2. Transform reaching for your phone, into reaching into a stretch:

that instinctive action of reaching for your phone first thing in the morning, can be transformed into an instinctive morning stretch. Stretch it out, roll it out, roll out of bed if you have to, it can be fun. As long as you have a solid 10 minutes of morning air without flashing yourself a phone/laptop screen


3. Inhale that fresh morning light, exhale any old tension:

now that you've rolled out of bed and you are successfully phoneless, take this opportunity to SOAK ALL THIS GOODNESS IN! Breathe in deeply for a few seconds, it doesn't have to be a task or an effort. Just be conscious of how you're breathing. Notice your sharp inhales and ease them into slowness. Watch your pace, slow it down, breath it down. inhaling light energy


4. Start small, a really small start IS still a start!

Even if you can't conquer the first 3 steps straight away, It is still possible to start by step 4! Start small, 5 seconds of deep breaths or 5 minutes of uninterrupted stillness is a start enough to kickstart a mini morning routine. Small steps take you to the same destination as leaps do, there's no need for jumping to conclusions or expectations in the morning, relax and take baby steps.


5. Get intimate with yourself

You can never go wrong with some self care, love and play. Massage your moisturizer in tenderly, treat your body softly. Intimacy with the self reflects care and love energy back into your body. Show yourself that you can and you care. Even if it is with the smallest task of spraying your favorite perfume that day for no reason at all except the fact that you deserve to feel good. You can make yourself feel good through the smallest of tasks


Notice what is actually working for you. Don't fight to include a practice in your morning routine that causes tension or irritability or more pressure. Let yourself breathe and anything that fits seamlessly include, even if some practices add a layer of slight discomfort do not negate them immediately. Discomfort is not always a a negative sign of resistance, sometimes it is an instantaneous bodily reaction to change, change can be uncomfortable sometimes even if it is good. Moving from your comfort bubble doesn't have to be chaotic and uncomfortable, it can be done softly and bit by bit.


If you have integrating one of these steps or any practice into your morning routine everyday for 2 weeks and you do not feel changed or benefited, drop it. Move on to the next thing, it doesn't have to be hard, tense or grinding from the moment you wake up. Implementing a routine is not a fast process and should not be treated as such, you can play around with it make it your own, jazz it up!


There is this finite idea that when you start a practice or routine you are using a life hack to direct your goals and reach them immediately. There is definitely not one set of steps for a morning routine that can be explicitly set out for you to achieve maximum success in whatever you desire. However you can bond with some steps, personalize them and intent them to motivate you and fuel you. Lean back onto yourself as a moving embodiment of a continuous breathing routine you do without even realizing. Award yourself for the small victories, there are subtle and not so subtle levels of revelations and you can reach them through some morning routine steps or however you want.
